Fife Council will hold a Children's Services Committee meeting on 11 Janruary 2007 at 10:00am in Glenrothes to decide which of the five options for redeveloping Madras to adopt.
The council's favourite option is:
1. Status quo - maintenance at both sites because funds are not available for any other option.
The other options that the council will consider but do not favour are as follows:
2. Redevelopment of Madras College on the Kilrymont Site (Extension and Refurbishment of Existing Accommodation).
3. Construction of a new school on the Kilrymont site.
4. Construction of a new school elsewhere in St Andrews. (Fife Council owned site.)
5. Construction of a new school elsewhere in St Andrews. (Site not currently owned by Fife Council.)
Full details of the meeting agenda and further information on these options can be found at http://www.fife.gov.uk/orgs/index.cfm?fuseaction=event.display&objectid=C1A8F15F-E7FE-C7EA-0C651C50C3800B85&orgid=60304273-A856-11D6-BF4D0002A5349AC9
