Are Fife Council Listening to HMIe?

Thanks to the blog-producers for the timely update on today's CSC meeting.

I can believe John's comments about HMIe reports being advice rather than demands, but it is advice from a very authoritative source. If HMIe tells the Council that they believe that something needs to be done immediately to address a serious situation, it must send out a very strong signal to the relevant authorities. Surely, Fife Council cannot expect to get away with ignoring such a statement?

I do hope that with the backing of the HMIe report, and with pressure from all relevant groups, progress can be made for the benefit of the children of this part of Fife.
